Inspiration for It

Wish for IT is a heartfelt gift that with an inspiring story behind it. Deeply moved by the Pillowish story, Finding IT Founder, Janae Bower, partnered with Pillowish Founder, Jenny Blake, to co-create this one-of-a-kind product to inspire and share with you.

This newly-released product helps you live IT with a Finding IT inspirational book, a Pillowish – a standard pillowcase with pocket – and set of 12 Wish for IT notecards. A portion of sales from Wish for IT allow Pillowishes to be given to hospitalized children.

The Pillowish Story: Pillowishes began in 2003 when Jenny’s 6-year-old son, Reid, (pictured) was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer. While hospitalized for treatment, he met and bonded with another young girl, Jessie, who had the same cancer. Jessie sewed a pillowcase for Redie that brightened his room, his smile and his life. This act of kindness inspired Jenny to collaborate with her friend, Kelly, to make pillowcases with pockets. Jenny received the 2007 Power of IT award for her generosity.
